Dear FOIA officer(s)
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. Section 552, I wish to obtain items below.
(1) Copy of (preferably, in a Digital format without Copy-Guard Protection.) all the films Mr Eiji Tsuburaya (円谷英二) is credited as a staff, broadcasted before Dec 19,1943. Preferably, in a Digital format without Copy-Guard Protection.
Thery were, once broad casted and even now a days still can be seen in Japan places such as 東京国立近代美術館 京橋フィルムセンター. Therefore, the video tapes are accessible for uncleared public and should not be withheld. Also, the expiration of copy right makes any duplication of them lawful. ( In Japanese Copy write law Article 54, copy right for film expires after 70 years from the publication ).
It is not yet sure you own Eiji Tsuburaya films, however, most of his works until the end of WW2 were filmed for propaganda purpose. And because propaganda films were seizures by OSS and other former bodies of CIA in occupation era of Japan, it is highly probable you own his film copies .
As part of this request, I am also asking for any transcripts made of the contents of those films. If they exists, transcription should have been made by U.S. government. Therefore they are in a public domain.
For your convinience, here is attached link for reference for Mr. Tsuburaya.

Above materials are going to be used in our article on ”History of Governmental Speech”.
Thank you.
